Contents Page Draft



    This is my first contents page draft and I am hoping it will be my last as I really like this design. I used a copy of a kerrang contents page as a template and then placed my own imagery over the top. I then altered some of the layout to make it my own. Instead of using a plain white background; I took a picture of some scrumpled paper then added a red effect over the top. I also carried on the ripped paper effect I used on the front cover but I changed the ripped papers colour from red to black and white.

Front Cover Draft

This is what I am hoping to be my final draft of my magazine cover. I have included a new main image (one that I have edited to combine 2 images that have been taken). I have also taken pictures of 3 of my friends and have asked them to pose in specific ways. I wanted to include a band that look quite unusual so I asked one friend to look serious and the other to look quite silly, this contrast looks quite good in my opinion. I asked my other friend to pose with an instrument and look serious/casual. This style of pose (looking like you aren't very bothered) is used by quite a people when posing for magazines. Another addition to my magazine is the album cover I designed in my graphic design class.
